Include brief historical sketches of Hanover County and Bacon's Castle, and by-laws, reports, and notes on the Conestoga Community Center of Radnor Township, Delaware County, Pa. Of interest is a letter, 1908, from Gaston Pollard, New York, to a Prof. Deering re: the latter's interest in Franz Grillparzer. Another letter, 1946, from Ralph Happel, Fredericksburg, Va. to H.L. Mencken, attempts to trace the phrase "son-of-a-bitch" in American slang.
